Ghanaian football icon Andre Ayew has praised the Black Queens for their impressive bronze medal finish at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Ayew expressed his admiration for the team’s skills and dedication at a dinner held at Tang Palace on Tuesday.
“I didn’t know some of you, but now I know all of you and all of you are great players.” He also highlighted Ghanaians’ passion for football, stating, “Ghanaians really love football; we don’t love anything else.”
Ayew’s words of encouragement and appreciation for the team’s achievement showcase his support for women’s football in Ghana.
