Black Stars forward Andre Ayew paid his respects to two victims of the August 6 helicopter crash by attending Muslim prayers in Accra.
The ceremony, led by National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, honored Hon. Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Murtala Muhammad, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation, and Alhaji Muniru Limuna Mohammed, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator.
Ayew, currently considering his next move after leaving French club Le Havre, joined prominent figures like President John Dramani Mahama and Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin at the event.
The victims were later buried at the Military Cemetery in Accra, with a state funeral for all eight crash victims scheduled for August 15 at Black Star Square.
