Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah believes his side is stronger than their league form suggests as they prepare for a crucial MTN FA Cup fixture.
The Hunters have endured a challenging start to the Ghana Premier League and currently sit in the relegation zone with 10 points from 11 matches.
Despite the difficult run, Amissah says the team is focused on resetting their season.
Bechem United face Aduana FC in the Round of 64 on Wednesday, November 26, a tie the coach views as an opportunity to shift momentum.
In his pre-match comments, he emphasised the significance of the encounter and outlined the need to fix the team’s recent lapses.
“Every match is a crucial match. We will correct our mistakes to up our performance. If we are able to do that, it will help us in both the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup. For now, everyone is underrating us because of our performance,” he told Bechem United TV.
He added that improvements are already underway and believes his players are capable of producing a better display. “But we are also correcting our mistakes, and the performance of the players will improve. This is also a knockout match, so we are determined to eliminate them and come back home happy.”
The FA Cup showdown is scheduled for 3 pm at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, where Bechem United will aim to reignite their confidence.
