Amidaus captain Yahaya Mohammed claims Stromsgodset talks

Amidaus midfielder Yahaya Mohammed has confirmed opening contractual talks with Norwegian club Stromsgodset.

The 25-year-old has shot back into the limelight following his consistent displays in the Ghanaian top flight.

The on-loan Asante Kotoko player at Amidaus is currently amongst the leading scorers in the Ghana Premier League with 11 goals.

The midfielder’s impressive displays have not gone unnoticed and are now stirring interests within clubs home and abroad.

He now confirms the Norwegian club as one of many others to have made an official inquest of his availability.

“Yes, I can confirm I am in talks with Stromsgodset,” Mohammed told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“I don’t have a manager or an agent representing me so I am dealing with them directly.

“They have expressed an interest in signing me so we are in discussions.”

Mohammed will join four other Ghanaians if he manages to secure a move to the one-time Norwegian champions.
