Ameenu Shardow confirms talks with GFA over Black Stars team manager role

Dream FC General manager Ameenu Shardow has confirmed talks with the Ghana Football Association over imminent appointment as Black Stars team manager.

There were media reports that Shadow has been handed the role ahead of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

In an interview with Oyerepa FM, he said discussions have been held but not not official just yet.

“The truth of the matter is that there have been talks, we have had discussions.

“There is no confirmation now but the truth of the matter is that there’s been discussions with respect to that position,” he added.

The Black Stars, who currently lead Group E of the qualifiers with four points, are set to host Angola on March 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium, with the reverse fixture taking place in Luanda four days later.
