Amankona, Mukwala, and Abban vie for Player of the month honors

The Ghana Premier League’s top performers, Stephen Amankona, Steven Mukwala, and Ebenezer Abban, have been nominated for the coveted Player of the Month award for May and June.

Their outstanding contributions propelled their teams to impressive finishes in the season’s final stretch.

Amankona, the league’s top scorer, bagged seven goals and earned Man of the Match honors in six appearances, helping Berekum Chelsea secure third place.

Mukwala, now with Simba FC in Tanzania, scored four goals in four games, guiding Asante Kotoko to a top-half finish.

Abban was instrumental in Heart of Lions’ relegation escape, netting seven goals and earning Man of the Match honors in six appearances.

The winner will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set, courtesy of ElectroLand Ghana Limited.
