Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu has been named in Sofascore’s Week Three Team of the Week for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Seidu’s outstanding performance in the Black Stars’ goalless draw against Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday earned him this prestigious recognition.
Seidu, who made his debut for Ghana in 2022, has played 17 matches for the national team and has one goal to his name.
Despite dominating the match, Ghana was unable to convert their chances, leaving them winless in the qualifiers with only two points from three games.
Coach Otto Addo’s side will face Sudan again on October 15 in Libya, aiming for redemption and vital points.
