Algerian side MC Oran have secured the signature of former Asante Kotoko forward Maxwell Baakoh from USM Khenchela.
Baakoh signed two and half year deal with a record fee of 300,000 euros.
The deal makes him one of the highest-paid players in Algeria with a monthly salary of 20,000 euros.
The Ghanaian forward has been in fine form, scoring four goals in 11 appearances.
The 28-year-old is expected to play a key role for MC Oran as they aim to avoid relegation zone in the second round of the Algerian league 1.
Maxwell featured for clubs including Ceramica Cleopatra in the Egyptian Premier League and Sahab Club in Jordan after leaving Asante Kotoko.
