Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah says the team will give everything to secure victory in their upcoming Champion of Champions clash against Bibiani GoldStars.
The Porcupine Warriors face the Ghana Premier League champions at DUNs Park on Sunday, August 31, as part of their build-up to the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Kotoko endured a frustrating GHALCA Top 4 tournament, finishing without a win, but Amoah insists they are determined to bounce back.
“From our past games with them, we’ve created a lot of chances, so we just need to work on our finishing and convert them,” Amoah told the club’s media.
“In football, there’s a win, a draw, and a loss. We’ve already lost one, and we won’t repeat it. We are going to work extremely hard and make sure we score the goals this time,” he added.
Kotoko will host Nigerian side Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round next month.
