Asante Kotoko head coach, Karim Zito, has thrown his weight behind striker Albert Amoah, insisting the forward has done enough to earn a place in the senior national team, the Black Stars.
Amoah has quickly become a key figure for the Porcupine Warriors, and his performances have not gone unnoticed, with growing calls for him to be given an opportunity at the national team level.
With Ghana preparing for upcoming World Cup qualifiers, Zito believes Amoah’s energy, movement, and influence in attack could add real value to the Black Stars setup.
“Albert Amoah has proven that he deserves a place in the Black Stars. He delivered an outstanding performance in front of the coaches, the GFA President, and his Executive Council. If he earns a call-up, there will be little room for objection,” the Kotoko coach stressed on Akoma FM.
