The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has urged Ghanaians to rally behind the Black Stars technical team following the team’s recent triumphs in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The four-time African champions secured two consecutive victories, defeating Mali 2-1 and the Central African Republic (CAR) 4-3.
Speaking at the launch of the Democracy Cup, Bagbin expressed his confidence in the Black Stars’ resurgence and emphasized the importance of supporting the technical team.
“Let’s encourage and support the technical team, and everybody. Ghana will once again rise up to the glory of God,” Bagbin stated.
The Black Stars will not play any further matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers until March 2025.
