Sundanese side Al Hilal are on the verge of signing defender Ibrahim Imoro after reaching an agreement with Asante Kotoko.
The deal will cost Al Hilal a fee in a region of $150,00 upfront which could potentially rise to $410,000 with some performance-related clauses inserted in the contract, according to Joy sports.
Imoro is expected to undergo medicals on Tuesday before the deal will be materialised.
He played a key role in helping Asante Kotoko win last season’s Ghana Premier League title after joining the club in 2019 from Karela United.
The left-back was involved in Ghana’s progression to the last stage of the CHAN qualifiers after back-to-back victories over Benin – 3-0 in the first-leg and 0-1 in the second-leg.
