Latest reports in England have linked the 28-year-old with a 2.5-million pound move to Portsmouth where he could link up with national teammate Sulley Muntari.
Agogo has been keen to stress he is happy at Nottingham Forrest but says he will consider any move in the summer that will give him the opportunity to play at a higher level.
“I will go back to Forrest and give my all for the rest of the season. I have played in front of the fans there every week and the club has shown me, great love. But obviously, I want to play at the highest level and I hope my performance at the African Nations Cup has proved I can do that”, he told KickOffGhana.com.
Agogo scored three times to finish as the joint top scorer of the Ghana team and gained all-round plaudits for his hard work and willingness to battle for 90minutes. They are qualities that his agent Saif Rubie says have drawn interest from several clubs including some from mainland Europe.
