English-based defender Salisu Mohammed opened the scoring account on the 69th minute before substitute Antoine Semenyo sealed the win over the 15th-ranked country, just four minutes after.
The Hearts of Oak marksman enjoyed 62 minutes of action and displayed immense pace and trickery to tourment the back line of Switzerland.
“It was a good game. There was no pressure. I stuck to what the coaches said and everything went well for me.” Barnieh said in an interview with JoySports.
Ghana will depart Abu Dhabi on Friday to Qatar for the main competition.
They will face Portugal in their opener exactly today’s at the Stadium 947 in the capital, Doha.
