In a recent interview with ghanafa.org, Yussif Basigi, the coach of the Black Princesses, shared his thoughts on the positive impact of including Mukarama Abdulai in the squad for the upcoming 13th African Games in Accra 2023.

Coach Basigi praised Mukarama not only for her exceptional performance on the field but also for her qualities as a team player and unifier. “Mukarama’s inclusion is very good for the fact that, aside from her performance, she’s a team player and unifier as well as a message conveyer,” Basigi stated.

He emphasized that Mukarama’s presence in the squad would go beyond her individual skills, acting as a motivational force for the entire team. Basigi highlighted the importance of her experience, which he believes will bring cohesion and unity to the group.

The Princesses will compete in the Women’s Football event while the Black Satellites takes part in the Men’s Football event – in the Games scheduled from Friday, March 8- Saturday, March 23, 2024.
