AFCON Qualifiers: Black Stars to arrive in Kumasi today for Angola clash

The Black Stars are expected to arrive in Kumasi later today ahead of this week’s TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola.

17 players are currently in camp in Accra with rest expected to join before the trip to the Ashanti Regional capital.

They include Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Joseph Wollacott, Alexander Djiku, Denis Odoi, Kingsley Schindler, Patrick Kpozo, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Andre Ayew, Joseph Painstil, Ransford Yeboah, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu, Majeed Ashimeru and Edmund Addo.

The Black Stars will host Palancras Negras at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Thursday, March 23 before travelling to Luanda on March 27, 2023 for the reverse fixture.

Ghana are joint top of the Group E table with 4 points from two games following a 3-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-1 draw with Central African Republic in June last year.
