Defender Nicholas Opoku has been handed a late call up in the Black Stars for the second leg encounter against Angola.
This follows two injury concerns in defence for Chris Hughton after Mohammed Salisu and Alexander Djiku were ruled out for the upcoming encounter.
Salisu did not play a part in Ghana’s win over Angola in Kumasi while Djiku was substituted after picking up an ankle injury.
Opoku arrived in camp on Sunday evening to join his teammates in Luanda for the clash with the Southern Africans in the AFCON qualifiers.
It is unclear if the 25-year-old will start with Daniel Amartey and Joseph Aidoo seemingly becoming the likely options.
Ghana top group E with seven points as Angola and Central African Republic are behind with four respectively.
