On the back of his return to the Black Stars squad, Genk attacker Joseph Paintsil is expected to lay down the marker and prove his worth for Ghana.
The former Tema Youth star has been included in the 25-man squad named by Chris Hughton for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ghana come up against Angola on March, 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi before a second leg clash in Luanda three four days later.
Then Ghana coach Otto Addo came under intense criticism for dropping the attacker from the 26-man list at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
But Hughton has added the 25-year-old into the team for the Angola clash, in search of a win to put Ghana three points clear at the top of Group C, having beaten Madagascar and drawn with Central Africa Republic.
In all competitions, Paintsil has been in form for Genk, netting 11 times and provided 10 assists.
