Aduana Stars coach Yaw Acheampong aims to maintain Ghana Premier League top spot until end of season

Aduana Stars tactician Yaw Acheampong says his outfit aim is to maintain their top spot until the end of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The two-time Ghana Premier League winners inflicted a narrow win over Bechem United last Friday to return to the summit of the table.

Bright Adjei’s 17th minute strike was enough for the Dormaa-based side to return to winning ways after their defeat to Nations FC.

Speaking after the game, Yaw Acheampong disclosed their dream is to maintain their position at the top until the season comes to an end.

“That has been our dream to be there to the end of the first season. So, let’s see how the other games go and then we see what we can do next.” He told StarTimes.

The Fire Boys are away to fifth-placed Nsoatreman who are 3 points behind them for their next game.
