Assistant coach of Aduana FC, W.O. Paul Tandoh, strongly believes his team deserved a win against Hearts of Oak, despite their goalless draw on Friday.
The Ogya lads managed to hold Hearts of Oak to a 0-0 stalemate in their Ghana Premier League Week five encounter at the University of Ghana Stadium, even after being reduced to 10 men in the 57th minute.
After the match, Tandoh praised his side’s efforts and downplayed Hearts of Oak’s performance, describing their play as “ordinary football.”
“We outplayed them, it’s just sheer luck. If they (players) had listened to the instructions perfectly, the first half, the game (would have been) finished.
“They (Hearts of Oak) played ordinary football,” he added.
Aduana FC are currently struggling in the league, sitting in 16th place with only three points from five matches and hope to bounce back against Dreams FC in their next outing.
