Aduana coach Cioaba demands peak intensity ahead of GoldStars test

Aduana FC head coach Aristica Cioaba says his players must raise their physical and mental levels when they visit Bibiani GoldStars on Sunday, warning that the champions’ intensity will demand absolute discipline.

Aduana sit top of the table after a seven-game unbeaten run, but Cioaba believes the trip to Dun’s Park will be one of their toughest challenges yet.

GoldStars remain a force at home despite last week’s defeat to Nations FC, keeping three straight clean sheets in Bibiani. They have also won 12 of their last 20 matches, underlining a consistency that continues to trouble opponents.

Aduana, however, draw confidence from their recent form and a favourable head-to-head, having beaten GoldStars 2-0 in March.

Cioaba stressed the need for full commitment from start to finish.
“Maybe we need more running than the opponent, more strength than the opponent, more mental concentration from the first minute to the 90th minute, because this game is different,” he said.
