US striker Freddy Adu has denied claims that he is set to be sent to FC Dallas in a trade for Brek Shea.
Recent reports have suggested that the 23-year old attacker was to leave Philadelphia Union for Texas after he was left out of last week’s clash with New York Red Bull but he moved quickly to rubbish those rumours.
“I wasn’t paying attention but then I was told by a friend of mine,†Adu said of the speculation which begun on Tqitter.
“I was just laughing because people don’t know why I wasn’t with the team in New York and they started speculating.
