Queens Park Rangers (QPR) can breathe a sigh of relief after Ghanaian winger Albert Adomah scored a vital goal that secured their Championship status for the upcoming season. The goal came during their match against Stoke City, where QPR emerged victorious.
Despite Stoke City having the upper hand in possession, they failed to convert their chances, allowing Adomah to capitalize on a rebound and put QPR ahead early in the second half.
Stoke City mounted a sustained pressure on QPR late in the game, but their efforts were thwarted by a resolute performance from their goalkeeper, Seny Dieng. Dieng made some fine saves from Josh Laurent and Tyrese Campbell, helping QPR to secure their second successive win and only their third in 22 league games.
Adomah played for 78 minutes before being substituted. In the current season, he has scored two goals in 37 league appearances for QPR.
