Adiyiah and his strike partner scored twelve goals between them with the Norway based striker hitting eight and taking both the top scorer and best player award from the Under-20 World Cup. His displays in Egypt have led to claims that Chelsea will splash out on him when their transfer ban by Fifa is lifted. But it is the Black Stars that he is within touching distance of and Sellas Tetteh who handled the team in Egypt reckons Adiyiah and Osei can be vital additions for the Black Stars. “They can do it,” Tetteh said in response to whether the two could solve the striking problems of the Stars. “They have pace, skills and great eye for goals. They were two of our best weapons for us but it will all depend on Milovan Rajevac, the senior coach.” Adiyiah says he will be grateful for a chance against Mali on November 15th at the Baba Yara Stadium but has been keen to play down the expectation. “Every player wants to play for the Black Stars so I am happy the coach will give me a chance,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “But I don’t want people to put pressure on me. I have great belief in my ability but the Black Stars is a different platform and I will just be happy for the chance to learn from some of the more established players in the team for a start.”
