Adidas to wrestle Puma for Black Stars kit sponsorship

Global Sportswear brand, Adidas, is ready to wrestle current Black Stars kit sponsors Puma for the kit sponsorship deal to clothe the senior national team, GHANAsoocernet.com understands.

The Black Stars who have been under contract with rival brand Puma since 2006 are set for a heavy showdown as their rivals Adidas have openly declared their interest in affiliating their brand to the four-time African Cup of Nations winners.

Mr. Reks Brobbey, Adidas representative in Ghana, expressed the hope that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) would bring The Black Stars to Adidas during the Vodafone Unity Cup Press Soiree held a few days ago.

Adidas is a household name in sports with a long-standing sponsorship of football’s World governing body, FIFA.

Adidas was the kit sponsors of the Black Stars in days past before Puma came on board to carry the Black Stars shoulder-high since 2006.
