The Ghana left back has largely been a fringe player, but is confident his starring role for Ghana in Rwanda when he was one of Ghana’s best players will convince his club bosses that he is good enough to be a regular.

“Mostly I started games from the bench, but I go back with my confidence very high,” he told KickOffGhana.com.

“My priority as we resume from the winter break is to break into the first team, and I am confident I can do just that.”

Addy has shown a good ability to bounce back from disappointment to bounce back, and believes that quality will see him through again.

“I was not deemed good enough for the last U-17 squad that went to South Korea, so to have come back and been a member of the U-20 is a huge thing for me. Now I need to play well and ensure that when the squad for World Cup in Egypt.”

All that will of course depend on how active he stays at the club level.
