Otto Addo says he is looking forward to Ghana’s clash with South Korea, even though his side has had to deal with multiple injury withdrawals.
The Black Stars arrived in Asia with a full squad for their November outing but were soon hit by absences.
Abu Francis is recovering from surgery after breaking two bones during the Kirin Cup defeat to Japan.
Mohammed Salisu and Antoine Semenyo also exited camp early due to ligament issues.
Addo admitted the situation created challenges but believes the team responded well.
“It’s always not possible for us to get fast replacements. But we prepared very well,” he said.
Reflecting on their last meeting, Ghana’s narrow win at the 2022 World Cup, he expects another competitive showdown.
“We are looking forward to the match. We are happy to be here and happy to have this possibility to play against South Korea,” he noted.
The friendly on November 18 serves as Ghana’s final warm-up before shifting focus to 2025’s campaign.
