Accra Lions’ Head Coach, Ibrahim Tanko, remains optimistic about his team’s future, even in the face of recent setbacks.

After a 3-1 loss to Real Tamale United in a Week 6 league match, Coach Tanko acknowledged the team’s challenges but highlighted their determination to improve.

Accra Lions went into the game looking to end their winless run following defeats to Asante Kotoko and Accra Great Olympics but a lackluster performance in the opening minutes condemned them to another defeat.

In a post-match interview, he emphasized, ‘We are a young team, and we have to keep on working and hope that we find a win soon.’ Despite the disappointing home form, Coach Tanko is confident that better times are on the horizon.

He assured fans and supporters that the team would continue to work hard during training, meticulously analyze match videos, and rectify mistakes.

For Coach Ibrahim Tanko, this is the best way forward, and he remains committed to leading his young team toward success in the future.
