Hearts of Oak Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo, has vowed that the team will deliver a powerful performance against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the much-anticipated Super Clash.
Despite falling short to Kotoko in previous outings between the sides, Hearts of Oak have started the season on a strong note and are yet to suffer defeat – so have their visitors who have played three games less than the Phobians due to continental duties.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Opare Addo said the Phobians are determined to mark the club’s anniversary month with a statement victory.
“This Super Clash in Accra won’t be easy for Asante Kotoko. Accra Hearts of Oak is ready to make a strong statement at home,” Opare Addo said.
“November, being the birth month of Accra Hearts of Oak, will have great significance in the upcoming Super Clash,” he added.
Kick-off for the highly anticipated fixture is set for 15:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
