Access Bank will become the headline sponsor for the National Division One League for one season.
The business entity reached an agreement with the Ghana Football Association for the second-tier competition in a sponsorship deal worth $250,000.
At the Congress dated 30 August, 2022, GFA president Kurt Okraku said, “the GFA has successfully concluded a partnerhsip deal with Access bank Ltd that will see the bank become official bank of the football association and headline sponsor of the Division One League for one season”.
It comes as a financial cushion for the 48 clubs who have been without one since 2017 after GN Bank withdrew their financial packages.
The clubs will also receive Melcom Ghana vouchers worth Gh¢ 5000 for shopping.
