Ghanaian centre-back Shadirac Chyreme Say has joined Finnish top-flight side AC Oulu on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 21-year-old defender arrives from Hungarian giants Ferencváros, where he has spent nearly two and a half years under contract.
Much of Say’s recent playing time has come with Soroksár, Ferencváros’ second-division affiliate.
AC Oulu’s sporting director Markus Heikkinen described Say as “a fast and physically strong defender” and expressed excitement over his arrival.
“He has trained with Ferencváros in pre-season, so he has the ability to be available for the team in games relatively quickly,” Heikkinen added.
The deal gives Say a chance to gain valuable top-tier experience in the Veikkausliiga.
He will now link up with the Navy Blues as they push through the second half of the campaign.
