AC Milan rule out Kevin Prince Boateng exit

AC Milan have watered down reports linking Kevin Prince Boateng to Real Madrid in a swap deal involving Kaka.

Real coach Jose Mourinho is in need of an offensive midfielder and the former Ghana international linked with the nine-time European champions.

But the San Siro have responded to the transfer speculations claiming Boateng will remain at the club.

“Real Madrid have never asked us for Boateng,” AC Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani said on Tuesday morning.

“These are things that are just read in the newspapers.

“Kaka? He has a salary that no Italian club could support, he can’t leave Spain because of the different tax laws.

“He has another three years on his contract at Real at expensive conditions, so it is therefore impossible for him to return to Italy.

“He could go and play in other countries, but his wages would have to be doubled if he were to be signed by a club in Serie A.

“He will not be joining Milan – I’m 100 per cent sure of that.”

Boateng arrived at AC Milan in the summer of 2010 on-loan from Genoa who signed him from Portsmouth.
