Abdul Rashid Abubakar has joined Uzbekistan Premier League side FK Mash’al Mubarek on a two-year deal as a free agent.
The former Accra Lions midfielder aims to help his new club achieve success after leaving Kazakhstani side Atyrau.
Abubakar, 25, has had an impressive career, playing for clubs like FK Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Loznica in Serbia, Bahla in Oman, and Spartanii Selemet in Moldova.
He’s excited to join Mash’al Mubarek, saying, “To please our fans with victories is my biggest dream. I’m happy to join this team and feel at home already”
