Ghana will be without forward Abigail Kim for the 2026 Pink Ladies Cup.
The Neom SC attacker is undergoing a “medical assessment” and is expected to return for future assignments.
Kim had been named in Kim Lars Bjorkegren’s 26-player squad for the tournament, which also serves as preparation for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
She featured as a substitute during Ghana’s recent defeat to England in the last international window.
Her absence leaves the Black Queens working with 25 players in camp ahead of their opening match against Hong Kong on Saturday.
Ghana will also face Russia and Tanzania in the four-nation competition.
The forward reportedly missed camp due to an injury, ruling her out of the tournament entirely.
Bjorkegren’s squad will now adjust tactics and line-ups to compensate for Kim’s unavailability.
The Black Queens aim to use the competition to sharpen their team cohesion and match fitness ahead of WAFCON.
