The three-time African Footballer of the Year is said to be mulling a bid for the top job in Ghana football, but Abedi has, through his spokesman George Lomotey, disputed the reports.
“It is nowhere near the truth,” Lomotey told KickOffGhana.com. “I have spoken to him again and in all honesty he has not thought of contesting the post. Those are not reports you must take serious.”
