Abedi Pele visits Black Maidens, charges them to stay focused ahead of WAFU Girls Cup

Ghana football legend Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ visited the Black Maidens during their training session in Prampram, ahead of the WAFU B U17 Girls Cup.

Abedi Pele, impressed with the team’s performance, charged the young players to remain focused, disciplined, and diligent in developing their football careers.

“I am impressed with how well you are executing your coaches’ instructions on the pitch. Stay focused and be disciplined”. the three time African best Footballer said.

”I am eagerly looking forward to see the Black Maidens dominant in the upcoming tournament and I hope you win it, he added.

The Black Maidens have been engaging in friendly matches as part of their preparations, recently defeating Rootz Sistaz FC 5-1 and 2-0.

Their next friendly match is scheduled against FC Epiphany Warriors on Friday, December 6, at the GFA Technical Center in Prampram.
