Head coach of Dreams FC, Abdul Karim Zito is over the moon about his team’s four nominations for the 2024 CAF Awards
The Still Believe lads have been nominated for CAF Interclub of the Year, and former captain John Antwi is in for CAF Interclub Player of the Year alongside Abdul Aziz Issah.
Dreams, who made it to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup in their first year are in the running for the Club of the year award.
“I felt very excited because when you look at the club and what we have achieved within these 15 years, I think it is something to talk about,” Zito said.
“So I’m very happy; at least I’ve got some nominations. To me, a nomination is even good. Even if you don’t win, being nominated out of the whole lot in Africa is fantastic. I’m very happy for the club and the players.”
The award ceremony is slated for December in Morocco.
