Kudus Mohammed envisages such a massive moment it will be to play against Cristiano Ronaldo when Ghana face Portugal at the FIFA World Cup.
The 22-year old is expected in the Black Stars squad for the World Cup in Qatar and is already looking forward to facing Portugal’s captain, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ghana competes for a spot in the knockout stage with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
And the Black Stars will play the former European Champions in their opening game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup at Stadium 974.
“I think it will be a great moment to share the same pitch with an iconic player like Cristiano Ronaldo,” he told 3Sports in an interview.
Despite looking forward to sharing the same pitch with Ronaldo, Kudus is hopeful the Black Stars will approach the game with the right mentality just as the Portuguese team.
“It will be a great experience sharing the same field with him but with all the respect, we will approach the game with the same mentality,” he added.
Ghana lost 2-1 to Portugal when they last played in the 2014 World Cup.
