Black Stars winger Osman Bukari has won the French Cup with FC Nantes after climbing off the bench to help The Canaries beat OGC Nice on Saturday night.
Bukari, who is on loan from KAA Gent, replaced Nigerian Victor Moses in the 73rd minute as Ludovic Blas’ second half strike earned Nantes the coveted trophy.
The 22-year-old injected pace in the Nantes side and contributed defensively as his team prevented a late onslaught from OGC Nice.
After a pulsating first half without a goal, Nantes profited from a penalty they were awarded two minutes after break, with Blas making no mistake from the spot.
Bukari is expected to return to Belgium and rejoin parent club KAA Gent at the end of the season, but following his impressive display in France, it looks like the former Accra Lions man might be making a move.
The Black Stars forward netted two goals and provided three assists across all competitions for the French outfit.
