Amoah expects increased competition

Though the three points was a much better start for Ghana who started their 2006 campaign on a losing note, the showing by the Stars on Sunday has upped the pressure on not just the head coach Milovan Rajevac but many of the team’s big names who have come in for intense criticisms.   Striker Matthew Amoah was one of the men to have off-days and says the performance would bring renewed competition into the team for places.   “All of us know our places in the team is not safe except for two or three players,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “When a team does not do well, there are bound to be changes.”    But the changes, Amoah says will not affect certain players.
