Togo, Cameroon set to thrill Accra

Togo will be playing the first group game of the final qualifying stage in Accra because of a suspension by CAF on their Lome home.   Officials of the Cameroon team arrived in Accra on Saturday and say they expect 18 players to arrive tonight.   The Cameroonians, having missed out on the 2006 World Cup, say they intend to start the current campaign on a winning note, but insist the fact that game is taking place on a neutral venue is no advantage.   “In modern day football there is nothing like home advantage,” Indomitable Lions team manager Martin Etonge tells KickOffGhana.com. “There is no home games and away games, so we simply want to win and don’t think much of the venue. We have learnt our lessons from the last campaign and will leave nothing to chance.”   The Togolese team is due in Accra on Wednesday.
