The Bloemfontein Celtic striker is due in France on Tuesday with recently relegated Strasbourg FC his first point of call. Amofah will then spend time at Hertha Berlin in Germany before having another trial in Denmark.
The former Asante Kotoko player still has a year left on his Celtic contract, but told KickOffGhana.com that he is keen to move on.
“I am hoping the trials will work out because I want to move on,” he said. “I am enjoying it here in South Africa, but every player wants to play in Europe because it is of a higher level.”
