Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, Myron Boadu has stressed that after struggling to settle in at AS Monaco, he is now feeling himself.

The young striker joined the French Ligue 1 outfit in the summer of 2021 in a deal that saw him leave Holland where he used to play for AZ Alkmaar.

Unfortunately for Myron Boadu, the early months of AS Monaco’s spell were not very exciting. He struggled to find his form and found it difficult to get the goals for his new club.

After staying focused and training very hard, the striker says he is now feeling very confident.

“I have become myself again. It is not normal how strong the defenders are here, and that while I consider myself a fairly strong player. That was really what for me it took the most getting used to,” Myron Boadu told Get French Football News.

The Dutch forward continued, “I expected that I would need time to adapt, but I also expected that I would continue to score my goals every game, like in the Netherlands. For me it was difficult to deal with the fact that I didn’t score goals. made after my switch.”

Ahead of the end of the ongoing 2021/22 football season, Myron Boadu is looking forward to scoring goals to help AS Monaco to a strong finish to the campaign.
