Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is eager to have Thomas Partey back in his squad after insisting that his team needs the Ghana international to help the team with his quality.
Thomas Partey has been injured in the last couple of weeks after picking a thigh injury during the Gunners’ 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the English Premier League in March.
Speaking after Arsenal’s 2-1 win against West Ham United over the weekend, Mikel Arteta declared that there is no question his team needed their star midfielder.
He said, “We need him to play in that role on his own, with the quality he brings and the experience that he brings. And the fact he brings things that are unique that we want.
“Then we can accommodate players in other positions that for them are more relevant and can determine games in the way that we can.”
Sadly, reports according to sources are that the injured Thomas Partey is unlikely to feature again for Arsenal in the remainder of the ongoing season.
