2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 27: Legon Cities FC see off poor Elmina Sharks with a 2-0 win

Legon Cities FC have posted a 2-0 win over Elmina Sharks to continue their impressive form in the Ghana Premier League.

The team nicknamed the Royals last weekend were big winners in Kumasi when the team delightfully defeated Asante Kotoko 3-2 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Today in Accra, Legon Cities FC welcomed relegation-bound Elmina Sharks in a matchday 27 encounter of the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight league.

Courtesy of an outstanding showing, the team has amassed three big points.

In a match played at the El-Wak Sports Stadium, goals from Michael Otuo and Hans Kwofie propelled Legon Cities FC to a fantastic home win.

With the win, the team has now climbed to 9th on the Ghana Premier League table.

The losers, Elmina Sharks stay bottom of the league standings.
