Casemiro and David Alaba were allegedly unable to complete a full training session ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League match against Manchester City.
Carlo Ancelotti’s squad travels to England this week to face Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad Stadium in the first leg of their semi-final clash, with the second leg scheduled for the following Wednesday.
Alaba scored last time out before being forced off due to injury, while Casemiro has not appeared for Real Madrid since the second leg of their quarter-final against Chelsea.
According to Marca, after being included in Ancelotti’s squad for the trip to Manchester, Casemiro and Alaba will undergo a late fitness test to determine their availability for Tuesday evening’s match.
Ferland Mendy, the left-back, has also not played since the Chelsea match at the Bernabeu, but the French international is set to be able to play this week.
Real Madrid are vying for their first Champions League title since 2018.
