Joseph Aidoo was adjudged the Man of the Match in Celta Vigo’s draw against Getafe on Monday night.
The Black Stars centre-back rescued a late point for the Sky Blues at the Baladois in the Spanish La Liga.
Enes Unal’s 43rd-minute goal appeared to have sealed the win for the visitors, but Aidoo equalised in the 89th minute to ensure the spoils were shared.
It was the first goal of the season for the 27-year-old, who was making his 12th league appearance.
Aidoo is eyeing a spot in Ghana’s final World Cup squad after being invited for last month’s pre-tournament friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
Ghana who will be making their fourth ever appearance at the global showpiece in Qatar are pitted in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
