Uruguay have announced their provisional squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Head coach Diego Alonso named 56 players who stand a chance in participating, the final squad list will eventually be pruned down to 26 players.
The South Americans are in Group H alongside Ghana, Portugal, and South Korea.
This will be Uruguay’s 14th appearance at the World Cup. They triumphed at the first ever edition in 1930, which was held on their soil.
