Ghana midfielder Abdul Samed Salis has been ranked as the 6th best player in Ligue 1 this season.
The 22 year old earned his spot in the list compiled by French Newspaper L’Equipe following his outstanding performances for RC Lens in the ongoing campaign.
PSG trio of Neymar Jr. Lionel Messi and Marco Verrati occupy the top 3 spots respectively while Lille’s Ounas is in 4th place. Nuno Mendez of PSG is 5th, Abdul Samed Salis in 6th place while Lorient’s Le Fee, Rennes’ Santamaria, Lille’s Andre and Lorient’s Talbi complete the top 10.
Salis has flourished in the French top flight division since joining Blood and Gold during the summer transfer window.
He has scored once in 11 appearances for Lens this season.
The former Clermont star is expected to be named in Black Stars coach Otto Addo’s provisional squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
