Ghana international, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh says the Black Stars will represent the country “to the best of their abilities” at the impending FIFA World Cup.
Otto Addo’s side have won two games since March which has raised concerns about the competence of the team.
The results included a 3-0 loss at the hands of Brazil in a pre-World Cup friendly and a 1-1 draw with Central Africa Republic in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Daniel-Kofi Kyereh played an integral role in Ghana set up as they cruised past Nigeria at the end of two legs earlier this year to qualify for this year’s mundial and he is promising that the team will be at their best in Qatar.
“I anticipate a fun tournament. And I expect us to represent our country to the best of our abilities, demonstrating to the world that we can compete with anyone” .Daniel-Kofi Kyereh told GQ.
The West African powerhouse is making her fourth appearance in the world’s decorated football tournament.
Ghana has been drawn in Group H to face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
